Everyone welcome Jacob crews as a certified peace officer to the Monroe County sheriffs dept. Jacob will be a full time road deputy. Jacob graduated from the Department of Criminal Justice training on August 27 and we are excited to have him on our team. Congratulations Unit 323🔵👮🏻‍♂️

Aaron Capshaw was sworn in this morning by Sheriff Lucas Geralds. Aaron will be a full time road deputy. We are excited to have Aaron part of our team.

Today is the last day for this event. Michael Dubree was sworn in to the Monroe County Sheriffs department today by Sheriff Lucas Geralds. Michael will serve as the school resource officer at the Monroe County Middle School. We are excited to have Michael on our team as he brings over 22 yrs of Law Enforcement experience to Our Department and the school system.

We’re going to eliminate the passing lane which will eliminate several signs and move the STOP and STOP AHEAD signs closer to the pavement. We’ll also add rumble strips.

We’re executing the work order with the contractor today. The contract requires completion within 14 days. I estimate no later than July 31
