Appreciation shown for community service.

Monroe County Water District presents Dakota Gordon a check in the amount of $100. Mr. Gordon received this monetary reward for his notification of a confirmed water leak in the distribution system. One name is drawn from a compiled list of all notifications of confirmed Water leaks over the previous 12 months. This incentive has been given each July since 1999. Monroe County Water District said they encourage and appreciate this community service of contacting the local office of any suspected leaks in the distribution system at 270-487-8131.
