A boil water advisory has been issued by Ky Division of Water on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 3:37 pm for all Monroe County Water District Customers with no water or low water pressure starting at Hwy 100 & Hwy 214 intersection. All roads on and along.
This will affect approximately 173 customers. Customers should bring all water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes. The boil water advisory will continue until after sample results are received.

If you don't want to do paperless billing that's ok, We still ask for you to sign up for the Payment Portal if you haven't done so. That way you can view your bill and usage online and get important notifications from us.

Monroe County Water District will be closed Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day.

Monroe County Water District will be closed Friday June 19, 2026 in observance of Juneteenth.

Monroe County Water District customers on and along Gamaliel Road, Celina Road and Old Glasgow Road area may experience lower water pressure than normal. This is due to maintenance and upgrades to our tank. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause.

Tuesday April 28th & Wednesday April 29, 2026, Monroe County Water District office will be closed due to mandatory trainings. Someone will be in the office to answer questions and for emergency purposes but we will be unable to take any payments on those days.
You still can make payments on our website www.mcwdky.com anytime and our night drop thru the drive thru window.
Normal office hours will resume on Thursday April 30th, 2026.
