Mayor Daniel T. Rodrick and Toms River Recreation present the Thursday Summer Concert Series FOR KIDS at Shelter Cove, with shows beginning at 7 PM.

Bring your own snacks, chairs and blankets for this weekly kid-friendly event on the beach.

And don’t forget, Tuesdays are the Summer Concert Series for the whole family!

Congratulations to local Girl Scout Angelina who sold an incredible 642 boxes of cookies! Mayor Rodrick and the Town Council honored her at the most recent Council meeting with a special proclamation for this impressive accomplishment. As Mayor Rodrick said, capitalism is alive and well in Toms River!

Thank you to all who joined the Toms River Veterans Alliance and Mayor Rodrick for Toms River’s annual Memorial Day services last week, as we paid tribute to all who died defending our freedoms. Here is a video of the ceremony for those who were unable to attend.
