Their greatest boast is not a promise, it’s the outright threat to keep violent riots going. There is a very important election coming up. The Toms River GOP is very proud to support Rodrick's Republican Team for Toms River. We are proud to support honest hard working people who will do everything possible to put Toms River First. We need to say NO to more giveaways to friends & special interests. We need to say NO to special deals with Lakewood Developers. The Toms River Regular Republican Club is deeply saddened by the passing of William “Bill” Sommeling, a former President of our club and a lifelong public servant.

Bill devoted many years to serving our community, including as a Toms River Councilman, Ocean County Undersheriff and Acting Sheriff, Casino Control Commissioner, police officer, educator and United States Marine. His leadership, friendship and commitment to Toms River and Ocean County will not be forgotten.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife, Patricia, his children, grandchildren and entire family during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
