Happy Holidays from Dr. Feelgood and crew!
As the snow starts creeping in and the year winds down, we wanted to share a little winter update with all our wonderful readers!

Our tiny library will be closing for the winter at the start of the new year to protect the books (and the library itself) from snow and moisture. Before we tuck it in for its long winter nap, most books will be brought inside — but we’ve stocked it with a few Holiday stories and some extra little goodies to enjoy in the meantime!

✨ Please help yourself — but remember to take only one so there’s enough magic to go around.
✨ If you’re able, feel free to share a book or a treat with others this holiday season.

Thank you all for making this little corner of Tonasket so full of kindness, community, and curiosity. Stay warm, stay safe, and may your holidays be filled with stories worth sharing. ❄️

A Sweet Surprise for Dr. Feelgood’s Library!

Our wonderfully generous friend who visits us whenever she travels through the area recently sent us a letter that included information about The Honey Foundation, an organization dedicated to spreading kindness through education. Their mission is all about creating gentler communities, inspiring students, and teaching the value of empathy — something our spooky little library believes in wholeheartedly.

Even though she’s recovering from a recent accident, she still took the time to reach out, share resources, and send new books with more encouraging words. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and deeply appreciated!

To our sweet friend:
Thank you for always thinking of our Library.
Thank you for your kindness.
And thank you for helping us keep the magic of reading alive.

Your screams, laughter, and support make every shadow and scare worth it. Thank you for keeping the spirit of Halloween alive in Tonasket and for helping our freakshow grow bigger and better each year!

Standing tall at 12 feet of pure rock ‘n’ bone, is the very first member of our Motley Crew to roll into town for the season, Tommy Lee Bones!

He’s already raising the dead with excitement and can’t wait to party with you all on Halloween Night.

🖤📚✨ A Hauntingly Kind Visitor ✨📚🖤

Dr. Feelgood’s Library has been blessed by the most thoughtful of spirits…
A wandering soul, from Snohomish, who travels the backroads and towns, delivering books to little free libraries wherever her adventures lead. 👻

This generous friend has visited us twice already, bringing new treasures for our shelves—and even left behind a spooky little gift: a Jason kitty sign 🐾🔪🎃 (How perfect is that? We're trying to find a way to hang it on the library).

What a joy it is to know there are such kind hearts out there who go out of their way to spread literacy, adventure, and a dash of mischief. Our library isn’t even listed on the official LFL site, yet she sought us out after discovering us through this very page. That effort means the world to us. 🌙

To our traveling benefactor: thank you. Your thoughtfulness has filled our shelves and our hearts alike. We hope others who see this are inspired by your generosity and perhaps even cross paths with your haunted adventures one day.

Hey neighbors!
Starting today, you're officially invited to explore a spooky little treasure trove of books at the corner of our yard — Dr. Feelgood’s Library is open for business! 👻

Right now, it’s stocked with children’s books, and we’ll be adding more for teens and grown-ups very soon. Come by, take a book, leave a book, or borrow and return. It's a tiny box with a big heart (and just a touch of ghostly charm).

Inside you'll also find:
• Free bookmarks created with handmade floral paper by me
• Stickers made by me also!
• A geocache (Take one, leave one!)
• A guest log — please sign your name and leave a fun comment!

🌱 Please remember to be respectful of our plants and property while you visit. We want to keep this space magical for everyone.

We've turned our haunted house into a magical Gingerbread House for the holiday season. It's all decked out with festive frights and sweet surprises, perfect for enjoying the holiday spirit with a spooky twist.

Just for the eyes only, we couldn't resist sharing a peek of the enchanting and eerie transformation with you all. Enjoy the festive chills and holiday cheer from the comfort of your home!
