Training day last Saturday. 60 firefighters from 16 departments. 10 guest instuctors: 2nd Due Training Oliver Fire Department Brian Oberweiser and others. It was a great day!

Good morning,

Well, it’s that time of year again. The 2026 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Firefighter Tower Climb. On February 15, the Tonasket Fire Dept. is hosting a fundraiser breakfast to support our firefighters who will participate in the climb in Seattle on March 8. The firefighters will climb to the 72nd floor in the Columbia Tower in Downtown Seattle with 2000 other firefighters in full gear. Participants come from across the US and other countries. This year, the firefighters from Tonasket are Brian Ellis, James Gasho, David Standley, and Charlie Koehn.

Breakfast is by donation. 100% of the proceeds from the breakfast and all fundraising efforts go DIRECTLY to Blood Cancer United (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society). The breakfast will run from 7am to 11 am on February 15th at the Tonasket Fire Station at 520 S Western Ave. Tonasket, WA.

What I am asking for is some help and a favor from you and your community. Please take the time to pass this information on, and please come support one of the most important fundraisers around.

Last Saturday evening, we had our annual banquet. Charlie Koehn (left) won Rookie of the Year and Brian Ellis (right) won Firefighter of the Year. Congratulations guys!

Tonasket Fire Department will have a parade of fire trucks at 6:00pm today, September 11, in honor of the victims, first responders, and heroes of the September 11th, 2001, terrorist attack. Please come join us and line the sidewalks to honor them.
