Most people have never met a library trustee. That's because governance happens quietly, in monthly meetings, over budget documents and policy language. We are so grateful for our trustees!
Library trustees are the people who decide what your library does. They set policy, oversee a $16 million budget across 30 locations, guide where the district is headed, and uphold our Freedom to Read Statement.
Right now, the Ferry County Commissioners are accepting letters of interest for the Ferry County seat on the NCW Libraries Board of Trustees.
What to know:
๐ Must be a current Ferry County resident
๐๏ธ One meeting a month in Wenatchee
๐ค Volunteer role, no compensation
โฐ Letters on interest due Thursday, September 24
To apply, email a letter of interest to [email protected] telling the Commissioners how you'd use your skills and community connections to benefit NCW Libraries and Ferry County.
