🚨🚨Avoid the area- Seymour St between Fletcher and Niagara St remians closed for an extended period of time due to an earlier accident. Crews have been on location working all day to get it back open as soon as possible. Avoid the area if possible but if you can not, expect significant delays. Anticipated completion of repairs is between 8-9pm tonight but it could be later. 🚨🚨

Main street between Broad and Adam will also be closing this evening for a planned event.

National Night out 2026 will be held on Tuesday August 4th 2026 from 5pm-8pm behind the Police Station located at 200 Niagara Street.

This is a free community event. Come out and meet your City of Tonawanda Police Officers, along with other demonstrations. Niagara Search and Rescue will also be on hand to show you some of their capabilities.

As our community celebrates the holiday weekend, please be aware of the following road closures in downtown City of Tonawanda for the annual fireworks displays.

📅 Friday, July 3
🎇 Fireworks at the Renaissance Bridge (display begins around dusk)

Road closures begin at 7:00 PM:
• Main Street from Adam Street to Niagara Street
• Niagara Street from Seymour Street to Main Street

Boater Notice:
No boats will be permitted to moor in the Erie Canal between the Renaissance Bridge and the Delaware Bridge after 6:00 PM.
