Alabama Adjutant General, MG Sheryl Gordon, has been advised of SB-25 and will be discussing possible changes with her staff. Governor Ivey's office has sent questions concerning the ASDF to the Adjutant General.

Senate Bill SB-25 "An Act to Improve the Alabama Defense Force" has been introduced by Senator Tom Butler, Chairman of the Senate Military and Veterans Affairs Committee.

SB-25 has been referred to the Senate Taxation and General Fund Committee for budget consideration. Chairman is Senator Greg Albritton.

Please contact your state representatives and ask them to support this legislation.
