Great night with House Rep candidate Patrick Schmidt! Women's reproductive rights are as much on the ballot in November as it was in August. Patrick is a protect-choice candidate. Please consider giving him your vote. He has our full endorsement!

Out doing the lord's work this weekend. One banner up on northbound Tonganoxie Rd. Another should be up on I-70 near the McD's if not there already. We delivered about a dozen signs around town this weekend, and I was amazed by the number of Vote No signs.

We had another great turnout at our Wednesday meeting! We got 300 postcards written and addressed, and met so many new people wanting to find ways to stand for women's rights.

We had a great turnout to our first weekly meeting! It was so great to hear so many different voices on the topic and to brainstorm tangible ways we can make a difference in this uphill climb.

One of our main action items was to put together infographics to share on social media. These infographics will include talking points on common misconceptions such as "but I don't want my tax dollars to go towards abortions!" (They don't). We will be making those soon and encouraging everyone to share to their personal pages.

We are also looking for ways to reach unaffiliated and independent voters that often don't have the opportunity to vote in a primary.

Next week: we'll have signs and buttons, you can add your reason for voting 'No' on the tapestry, more is in the works and we'll release more details as they become available!
