Miss Tooele City

Miss Tooele City The Miss Tooele City Pageant is part of Tooele City's 4th of July celebration and community volunteer program. There is no swimsuit or fitness competition.

The Miss Tooele City Program was established in 2012 as part of Tooele City’s 4th of July celebration. The Miss Tooele City Royalty is selected during a community production where contestants are showcased and demonstrate their ability to serve as Miss Tooele City by competing in a variety of areas including: patriotism, on-stage communications, talent, and evening wear. Prior to the Pageant, each

contestant personally interviews with our panel of judges and is given an opportunity to discuss her abilities and qualifications. A responsibility score is also awarded prior to the competition based on the contestant’s ability to meet deadlines and fulfill pre-pageant requirements. The program celebrates American values, patriotism, service, and the spirit of Tooele City. The program seeks to recognize and engage bright, positive, energetic, entertaining, and civic-minded young women who are role models to the young people of our community and who represent the heart and spirit of Tooele City. The Miss Tooele City program helps to promote and to provide education to young women in the community about civic responsibility, patriotism, leadership, volunteerism, and community pride. Scholarships are provided to encourage education of our future leaders. We believe that each and every young woman in our community possesses her own unique beauty. We are looking for an ambassador, a young woman who:

*Is mature, responsible, dependable, and able to meet a demanding schedule during our 4th of July celebration and festivities;
*Exhibits patriotism, community pride, energy, excitement, and love for the people of Tooele City;
*Is positive, professional, fun, outgoing, approachable, has charm, is poised, and able to put a smile on other’s faces;
*Is able to meet the public and comfortable mingling with others in our diverse community;
*Is able to speak extemporaneously;
*Is an intelligent person who understands patriotism, community, and civic responsibility;
*A young woman who is proud of Tooele City and eager to promote her community as a great place to work, play, and live;
*Is cooperative and will work with the Pageant and Tooele City for the good of the program even if she has personal obstacles; and
*Is a good role model and an inspiration to youth in our community.

Miss Teen Tooele City (our America 250 Celebration Ambassador) Haley teamed up with local Tooele City Police and Fire representatives to judge the Elks Lodge Car Show during their Veterans & Emergency Responders Appreciation BBQ.

Taking home first place was an absolute beauty of a truck with a profound backstory. Renovated in loving memory of 17-year-old Bailey Corless following her tragic passing in 2008, the build left the entire judging panel moved by the father's dedication to honoring his daughter's memory.

Fun fact: If the truck looks familiar, an image rendering of it is actually featured as wall art at Hobby Lobby! (Swipe to see Haley holding the print). 📸

Hayley tied up her event with special access exploring the largest police vehicle in the valley.

Thank you to the Elks Organization and all who came out to honor our local veterans and first responders!

Spent our morning at Stansbury Days Parade supporting our neighbors! We got to ride in a classic 1980s truck currently being restored by Miss Tooele City's father, and it nearly outshined us. She's a beauty!

We grabbed great pre-parade photos with the Days of '47 and Miss Stansbury royalties. Miss Stansbury royalty is absolutely shining at their events this weekend representing their community so well. Miss Stansbury impressed us all when we learned she took home the gold at the early morning race and made it to the start of the parade just in time....still looking stunning and ready to serve.

What a weekend at the Demolition Derby!

Even with the thermostat hitting a scorching 105 degrees, the heat couldn't slow us down or stop the incredible energy in the arena. Surviving one of the hottest days on record was entirely worth it for every second of the action.

It was an incredible privilege to stand out there representing our City, presenting awards to the winners, taking photos right in the heart of the arena, and dancing on the sidelines to keep the crowd going. One of the absolute highlights was getting to cheer on and encourage the amazing little kids during the Power Wheels Derby.

Doing it all alongside our neighboring royalties, Miss Stansbury and Miss Grantsville, made the day even better. United in service, fun, and a whole lot of sweat, we loved every minute of bringing our communities together.

We especially loved our Roxerry smoothies from a special supporter AND our surprise visit from Mayor Manzione who came over and made sure we were all staying safe in the extreme heat and to thank us for representing the City so well.

We love service and appreciate all the behind the scenes work it takes to produce these community events. We'd like to send a huge thank you to all the other staff and volunteers who braved the heat to ensure the event was safe and exciting for everyone.

Let's recognize our 2026 Rookie Award recipient Dilynn Glover. One of our favorite traditions at the Miss Tooele City Pageant is recognizing the contestant who made an incredible first impression.

This award is presented to the highest-scoring contestant who has not competed in a pageant since age 16 and who is not selected as part of the final royalty.

Competing for the first time takes courage. It means stepping outside your comfort zone, learning new skills, and sharing your talents with your community. We love encouraging these remarkable young women and celebrating the bright futures they have ahead.

The Rookie Recognition Award was introduced by the Miss Tooele City program back in 2012, and we're proud to have seen this concept—and similar awards—adopted by other pageant systems over the years. We believe every contestant deserves to have their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments recognized.

Congratulations again to Dilynn, our Rookie Recognition Award recipient!

What an unforgettable day celebrating service, patriotism, and community! Mayor Manzione and the Miss Tooele City Royalty had the honor of heading up to Camp Wapiti to serve and spend the day at Little Warriors Camp—a incredibly special event dedicated to supporting our Gold Star families and their loved ones.

As we celebrate America 250, days like this remind us of the strength and sacrifice that make our country so extraordinary.

Camp Wapiti is a true hidden gem tucked right here in Tooele City. Beyond Little Warriors, they host camps all season long for courageous kids battling cancer, heart conditions, burn injuries, and other medical challenges. It’s made possible by the Elks, run by incredible volunteers, and sustained by generous donations. Plus, once again this year, the Elks gave out thousands of dollars to campers to help support them!

We had a blast serving and joining in on the fun:

🎯 Archery

🧗‍♀️ Rock wall climbing & ziplining

🎨 Arts and crafts

🐕 An awesome K-9 dog demonstration!

To wrap up the day, we held our camp royalty crowning. Because the girls are getting older, we actually got to crown TWO Camp Queens alongside our Camp Princesses this year! One of our new Queens shared a sweet memory: 9 years ago, when she was just 4 years old, she was crowned a Camp Princess by the royalty because she lost her first tooth while there!

Huge thanks to the Elks, the volunteers, and everyone who keeps the spirit of service alive!

Wondering where our Miss Teen Tooele City America 250 Celebration Ambassador was during the parade today?

While we missed having Hayley on the float, she was missing for the absolute best reason possible—showcasing American 250 at the highest level!

She was chosen as one of only two young women from the entire state of Utah to attend Girls Nation in Washington, D.C.!

While we were representing Tooele through the streets of SLC, she was:

🏛️ Representing Utah and Tooele at our nation’s capital and its historic monuments

🤝 Meeting with U.S. Senators and Representatives

📜 Learning the heartbeat of American government and civic leadership first-hand

In the true spirit of patriotism, we could not be prouder to have her representing Utah and her hometown of Tooele on the national stage. Way to represent our community with such leadership, grace, and dedication!
