Today just after 1:00 pm, a grass fire started on the east side of 1220 S Main St. Our crews were able to make a stop on it before the fire ran up the mountain. The cause is still under investigation. Just a reminder to mow and trim tall vegetation in and around your yards. This will help mitigate and minimize brush fires in the near future. We expect this year to be hot!

With it being National Dispatcher Week, we didn’t want to let this time pass without recognizing and thanking the voices behind the mic who support us every day.

They are often the unsung heroes on many incidents. While they may not always receive the recognition they deserve and often work out of the spotlight, they are the ones who get us dispatched, to the scene, and provide the critical information we need to do our job safely and effectively.

Thank you, Tooele County Dispatch. We truly appreciate all that you do for us, and we hope you enjoy your week.
