We frequently announce awards presented by Col. Luke R. Clover, TEAD commander, to members of the Tooele Army Depot Workforce. But today, we are pleased to announce that Col. Clover recently received awards himself, from our former higher-headquarters, Joint Munitions Command.

Prior to the Joint Munitions Command Casing Ceremony on June 10, 2026, Col. Clover was recognized by Brig. Gen. Dan Duncan and Command Sgt. Maj. Paul Ellis for his exceptional meritorious service as the Commander of Tooele Army Depot.

Clover received a "One Star Note" signed by Duncan; the Honorary Ordnance Order of Samuel Sharp award on behalf of retired Chief Warrant Officer 5 David Cassity, president of the Ordnance Corps Association; and a framed, signed Norman Rockwell print from World War II.

TEAD provides Warfighter readiness and operational reach through superior ammunition logistics from production to destruction and is now aligned as a subordinate unit under Army Sustainment Command.

Please help us congratulate Col. Clover.

As we close the last day on the final chapter of Joint Munitions Command, our former higher headquaters, we want to share the final communication from JMC. This article describes the events of the day and, more importantly, the legacy left by JMC as it is integrated into our new higher headquarters, Army Sustainment Command.

As mentioned earlier, today we transitioned from alignment with the Joint Munitions Command to our new higher headquarters, Army Sustainment Command. The change came following an emotional casing of the colors ceremony at JMC. The ceremony is steeped in Army tradition. Watch the video of the ceremony here. (There's a shoutout to TEAD by Lt. Gen. Chris Mohan, commander of U.S. Army Materiel Command.) We look forward to working with ASC and wish the best to our friends at JMC who are moving on.

With the official casing of the colors and formal closure of Joint Munitions Command this morning, we want to acknowledge and thank the team at JMC for the guidance and support they have provided us at TEAD over the years as our higher headquarters.

We also want to express our thanks to Brigadier General Dan Duncan, former JMC commander, for his leadership, and extend our best wishes to him in his future. We look forward to a continued relationship with BG Duncan in his new role at U.S. Army Materiel Command.

Lt. Gen. Chris Mohan, AMC commander, officiated at the casing of the JMC colors ceremony. Lt. Gen. Mohan was a commander at TEAD several years ago. He gave an affectionate shout out to TEAD during the ceremony, which was much appreciated.

We look forward to our new association with Army Sustainment Command, as our new higher headquarters. ASC is a subordinate command under AMC.

Army Strong. Be all you can be.
