We must prioritize those who labor.

As temperatures rise, heat-related illnesses and deaths are increasing. Working in extreme heat is its own type of hell, one that can kill you. Agricultural workers (many of whom are undocumented) are more than 35 times more likely to die from exposure to extreme heat than workers from all other sectors combined.

For D.C. Derek, going to Washington is the next step of his 25+ year political career. And that's why he'll vote with what the political power players and D.C. special interests want.

I'd much rather live and work on my ranch in Kansas, but right now politicians in D.C. are screwing things up so badly, I had to step up. In Congress, I'll put Kansas First in my actions, not just my words.
