Kansas System of Care

Kansas System of Care SAMHSA awarded a four-year System of Care (SOC) Expansion and Sustainability Cooperative Agreement to KDADS in 2016. Thank you for being part of this community!

Kansans Together is the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services' System of Care (KDADS SOC) working to uphold the best mental health care and support for all Kansas youth and families. The purpose of this program is to improve behavioral health outcomes for children and youth (ages birth through 21 years) with serious emotional disturbances (SED) and their families. Kansas SOC is the p

artnership of the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS), Community Engagement Institute (CEI), and four Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs): Compass Behavioral Health, South Central Mental Health Counseling Center, Sumner Mental Health Center and Wyandot Center for Community Behavioral Health. In March of 2020, the Kansas System of Care became Kansans Together. The goal of this brand update was to better serve and represent the children, youth, and families of Kansas. The logo, tagline, and colors were designed to signal a new era of expanded System of Care work in Kansas. We’re focused on elevating the voices of youth and families and continuing the work alongside you.
