In May, 6 Families lives were impacted forever. That is 16 lives that were touched by your generosity.
Your giving was more than a dollar sign, its an investment sewed into a child who is now able to lay their head down at night and not have to cover their ears to block out the screaming. It's a mom who can now breathe because there are no eggshells when she comes home to tiptoe around.

That is the impact of $1,115.36. Your sacrifice is their relief.

$250 was put towards bed sheets for 4 different beds.
$500 was put towards a mom for her electricity bill. One person covered the entire expense, and this mom of two was able to turn her lights back on, cover her water bill, fill her gas tank to make it to her job interview (she got the job)!
$500- Paid and emergency deposit fee for a woman who escaped her abuser, with barely her life.

In the month of April, 14 people gave a total of $4,506.66 to Eyes to See Ministry
We are astounded and moved by the people that reached out to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the past month.

The willingness to give has impacted and changed lives in such amazing ways. Its more than money; it's hope when circumstances say give up, it's light when everything felt too dark to see that tomorrow would be better, it's faith to keep believing that this too shall pass. So from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! These are the moments when we sit back in complete awe of what God can do through ordinary people simply saying yes.

Fourteen people.
That may not sound massive to the world.
But to the women and children those donations touched… it changed everything.

Because of your generosity, we were able to:

• Cover a deposit for a home for a mother and her 3 children
• Cover the first two months of rent for a mother and her children
• Purchase mattresses for a mother and her 3 children
• Provide home furnishings for a mother and her 5 children
• Cover the rent for the counseling office where free trauma counseling is held

This is why transparency matters to us.
We want every person who gives — whether it’s $5 or $500 — to know your donation is not disappearing into thin air. It is becoming beds, safety, stability, groceries, deposits, rent, healing, and hope.

It is helping women break cycles they never asked to be born into.
It is helping children sleep in peace.
It is helping families breathe again.

We exhale gratitude for the work that has been accomplished through your generosity. Our hands are still on the plow, as there is still much to be done, with multiple women and children on a waiting list for housing assistance.

******UPDATE***** Our goal was reached in less than an HOUR! THANK YOU!!!!

A woman who could easily be your neighbor, your friend, or the mother sitting next to you in the pew at church is in desperate need right now. This woman is located in Texarkana Tx.

She came to Eyes to See Ministry seeking healing and restoration, and for months she has been doing the hard, foundational work to rebuild her life and fight for her mental and emotional health.

Recently, she lost one of her two jobs following a mental health related incident, and right now she is fighting every single day to regain stability for herself and her three children while holding tightly to the hem of the Lord believing for restoration of her mind and her future.

At this moment, her electricity has been cut off. She is struggling to feed her children. Her vehicle situation is extremely difficult, and the weight of trying to survive while also trying to heal feels overwhelming.

So many of us know what it feels like to get behind financially and feel like no matter how hard you work, you cannot seem to catch back up. Sometimes people do not need someone to rescue them forever — they just need enough help to regain footing and get back to a place where forward movement becomes possible again.

Our ask is simply that you would consider donating toward her fund through our giving page. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping this mother and her children gain some ground again during one of the hardest seasons of their lives. Our goal is to raise $500.00 to help get her electric turned back on.

and that I am the Lord your God and there is none else.

Narcissism can develop from underindulgence, but it can also develop from overindulgence.
That is something a lot of people do not realize.
Sometimes narcissism is formed by neglect and emotional deprivation.
But other times it is formed by overindulgence, overprotection, or only meeting a child’s material needs while completely neglecting their emotional development.
This is the child who got all the things.
They were spoiled.
They were given their way.
They were not held accountable.
They may have been overly provided for materially.
But emotionally, they were never nurtured.
Nobody helped them process disappointment.
Nobody helped them regulate frustration.
Nobody helped them name sadness, anger, fear, or shame.
So they grow up with all these internal emotions but no tools for how to handle them.
And when they become adults, that lack of regulation often shows up as projection, entitlement, rage, blame, and abuse.
They are not processing their shame.
They are putting it on you.

Anxious attachment can make someone incredibly vulnerable to toxic or narcissistic relationships.
Why?
Because love bombing feels familiar.
Intense closeness followed by distance mirrors what they experienced in childhood.
When love is pulled away, they try harder.
They chase.
They apologize.
They over-give.
Unfortunately, that dynamic feeds manipulation and control.
Which is why healing attachment wounds is so important.
