Families Together have been the Parent Training and Information Center for 40 years. The organization was started to provide support to families who were otherwise isolated by the challenges they faced in caring for a son or daughter with disabilities or special health care needs. Today, the staff who work directly with families are all family members of persons with disabilities or appointed advo

cates or guardians of persons with disabilities. Each staff member can empathize with the joys and challenges of finding services and partnering with education and health care professionals. Families Together provides training and information through individual support, conferences, workshops, and peer support. Our staff also works with youth ages (14-21) to help them make a successful transition to adult life.

You're invited! Join us this summer for a Families Together, Inc. Parent-to-Parent Book Club. We'll be reading Good Inside, by Dr. Becky Kennedy. Good Inside is a compassionate, practical guide to parenting (and living) with connection, confidence, and grace. Together, we’ll explore how to see ourselves and our kids as “good inside,” even when things get messy.
