FRA Administrator Amit Bose was a featured speaker as the BLET kicked off its Western Regional Meeting in Kansas City this morning. Administrator Bose talked about the FRA’s numerous rail safety endeavors, including the recent two-person crew safety regulation, train make up, excessive train length, emergency escape breathing apparatus, and remote control operations.

The BLET National Division sends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Brother T.C. Emory, who passed away on September 4, 2022. Brother Emory was a long time Local Chairman of Division 456 (Norfolk, Virginia) and Vice General Chairman of the BLET’s NS-Eastern Lines General Committee of Adjustment. He was a friend to many of us and will be missed.
