We need your help! Our pantry is well stocked now on several items, but we are light on or completely out of the items listed below.

We also have pet parents requsting food for their animals when they're gettina a food order, and sadly we have none to give at this time.

If you are able to help with either we greatly appreciate it!

If you will share this post with your family & friends that will be even better!!!

Doorstep is located at 1119 SW 10th Ave, Topeka Ks.
Donation hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 2pm, South door.

Great turn out for the car show! The DJ is spinning tunes and our raffle items are popular!

Bounce houses, face painting and balloon artist all free!

June 6th is our inaugural Doorstep NeighborFest on the grounds of Christ the King Catholic Church, 25th & Wanamaker!

It starts with the 9th Annual Neighbor Helping Neighbor Walk/5K Fun Run at 9am with celebrity starter, Melissa Brunner WIBW, followed by a car show, food trucks, Family Fun area with bounce houses, face painting, and a balloon artist, all free.

We'll have touch a truck with an 'emergency' theme including a fire truck, Top City Storm Chaser vehicle, one of the two original trucks from the movie Twister, KSNT Meteorologist Matt Miller and their Storm Tracker, and a ServiceMaster vehicle.

There's a DJ from 10am-12pm, raffle items and a special announcement about the future of Doorstep...

This is Doorstep's 60th Anniversary which coincides with the anniversary of the 1966 tornado.

Save the date and sign up today for the Walk / 5K Fun Run by May 17th to guarantee yourself an event t-shirt marking our 60th Anniversary event!

Twister Truck has confirmed they will be joining us for Doorstep's NeighborFest with their movie original 1984 Jeep J-10 from Twister! Come see it yourself June 6th, 2026 right here in Topeka!

Happy May Day! We're about a month away from Doorstep's NeighborFest event on June 6th. Check out the events page on our website to sign up for the 5k Fun Run/Mile Walk, and to enter your slick ride into our car show.

Also, a special guest is planning on joining us... Here's a movie quote hint for all you storm fans: "Where's my truck?"
