The afterlife this year has been MURDER since Halloween!

We'd like to take a moment to extend our gratitude to everyone who came out to risk their souls and minds touring the Mansion this year! Also, very special thanks for all those who helped make Madness at the Mansion 2025 possible!

Tonight's the big night, and we are hoping for huge crowds tonight, from 5PM - 11PM! Many things to keep in mind.

1. We will be blocking off Buchanan from 9th Street to the alley north of 10th Street. This will be done somewhere between 5 - 6. The main reason for this is safety, but also we will have Butch’s BBQ Shack providing food. While you can park on either side of the barricade, it's usually easier parking between 8th - 9th as well as on 9th. The women's health clinic at 8th & Buchanan will let us use their parking lot for parking as well.

2. As for the tickets. First off, we are still a FREE event. The purpose of the tickets is for crowd control, as we will send in one group at a time. Crowd control has not been easy for us since we get large numbers, so please bear with us. The other reason for tickets is if you are hungry while you wait, you can step out and grab a bite from the food truck and with your ticket, you won't lose your place in line. We also have some haybales if you want to sit down while eating. We will be calling out numbers in order so people will know when to go in. Hopefully this will work, as it's something new we are trying. One ticket is for your whole group, and will need it to get in.

3. And of course, if you do not want to go with your group, we have chairs on the porch where you can wait. So please use them!

4. Also, as It has been said many times, do not touch any of our actors and they will not touch you. We tend to have a great group of people helping us every year, and they are very respectful at what they do. Be mindful of that.

5. Do not tear through any of the plastic or damage any props. We worked very hard to put our event together, so please be respectful when going through.

I think that might cover everything. So please get the word out and come join the fun, tonight from 5PM - 11PM!!

Get ready! Tomorrow night is Halloween and our final night. And hopefully the weather will cooperate for a change lol. Get the word out, we will have Butch’s BBQ Shack with food! And of course, we will give out candy! The fun starts at 5PM!!

We want to thank all those who have came out so far, even in the rain lol. Just a reminder, we will not be open until Halloween night, so we can rest, recover and repair! And hopefully it won't rain for Halloween!

Yes will still be open tonight! Yes it will still rain, but we are still hoping for a good turnout!

Reminder, Buchanan will be closed between 9th Street and the alley north of 10th Street. It's preferable to park between 8th & 9th on Buchanan or anywhere along 9th Street. If you can find a spot closer to 10th Street, that's great! Just NO parking in private driveway! Hope to see you tonight and be safe!!

So we are monitoring the weather for the weekend, and it sucks lol! But we still plan to be open from 5-11PM! Please come accordingly, and above all, be safe!

May Halloween night be so much better lol.

So I want to pop in and tell everyone about some new changes, and how you can hopefully help out!

First off, we are still a free event, that won't change. However we are working on a way to keep track of how many people we have show up as well as do better with crowd controlling, by issuing carnival tickets. Again, these are free, so no worries. We are just hoping these will help with the crowds we get. Also when we do open up, we would like feedback if you think the ticket idea is good or not.

Now because of the massive turn out the last few years, we have decided to block off the street in front of the Mansion. We have already gotten permission from the city and all that stuff. The thing is, they want people to maintain the barricades if we need an emergency vehicle to show up. So that's where I am asking for anyone out there who would not mind spending 6 hours a night (up to 3 nights) to help watch the barricades. Please reach out to us at the Mansion and we can work something out. Only serious replies please!!!!

As for the parking, we will close off Buchanan in front of the house. 8th Street to 9th Street will still be open, as well as a small bit of the road north of 10th Street. So even though you might be able to park close to 10th Street, anywheres between 8th & 9th as well as on 9th Street would be better. And this should go without saying, please do not park in anyone's private driveway.

Another reason why we will be closing off the street, and why we will be doing the ticket thing, is because we are hoping to set up some fun little carnival games (no prizes) as you are waiting to go in. Another new thing is we will also have a food truck vendor as well, provided by Butch's BBQ Shack! We are unaware of what the menu and prices will be at this point. But once we learn of that, we will post it!

So again, I am reaching out to the community for help. We need help to move barricades, as well as actors to help scare! We are taking some huge risks this year (with the street closure and food truck) so we are hoping for a massive turn out! If you want to help, reach out to us, and we can go from there!!!!
