🚨 IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE 🚨
Golden Shores Fire Department will officially transition emergency dispatch services to the Town of Colorado City beginning June 9, 2026 at 10:00am.

This upgrade will improve communications, interoperability, emergency response capabilities, and overall service to our communities with no interruption to 911 services.

Please review the notice below for important information regarding non-emergency contact numbers and what this means for the public.

Tonight, a joint response effort involving the Golden Shores Fire Department, Desert Hills Fire District, San Bernardino County Fire Department, Mohave Valley Fire Department, Bureau of Land Management, and Arizona State Lands tackled a brush fire situated between the Interstate 40 bridge and the railroad bridge along the riverbank. The fire's spread was successfully limited to its original area. We would like to acknowledge, with appreciation, the prompt mutual aid response provided by the neighboring fire departments.
