📢 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at the Sprung Structure Hours & Closure Update 📢

Please note the following changes to our schedule:

✅ Friday, September 4, 2026
The EOC will close at 1:00 PM as staff will be released early for the day.

✅ Saturday Hours
Effective immediately, the EOC will be closed on Saturdays due to limited deliveries and reduced service demand.

✅ Labor Day Hours (Monday, September 7, 2026)
We will be OPEN from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

✅ Temporary Closure for Cleaning & Restocking
The EOC will close at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, and reopen at 12:00 PM (Noon) on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. This will allow staff time to clean, organize, and restock our shelves.

✅ Regular Hours Beginning Thursday, September 10, 2026
Monday through Friday
🕘 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🚨 Important Community Notice: Temporary Closure 🚨

The Yakama Nation Commodity Foods Program will be temporarily closed next week from Tuesday, September 8 through Friday, September 11, 2026.

Here are the key details for our community:

Why: Crews are completing necessary interior pipe installation work.
LIHEAP: Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program services remain fully open.

📢 Notice: Pinashukt (Enrollment) Program Hours of Operation

The Pinashukt (Enrollment) Program will continue to operate on the following schedule until further notice:

🕘 Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

🕘 Tuesday & Thursday 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

🚪 Closed daily for lunch from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

⚫ Burial Assistance: To arrange burial assistance outside of regular business hours or during office closures, please contact the Yakama Nation Tribal Police at (509) 865-2933.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

Street and sidewalk improvements will begin Monday, August 31, 2026, in the area shown on the map. Road closures are expected Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Local business access will be maintained. Construction is expected to continue for approximately 65 working days.

Please use caution and follow posted traffic control and detour signs.

The Celilo Longhouse is now open as an evacuation center for residents of Wishram and Wishram Heights who are being displaced by the wildfire. If you are currently under evacuation orders or need a safe place to go, please head there immediately.
