West First Ave & South Toppen*sh Ave – INTERSECTION CLOSURE UPDATE

Businesses remain open. Local access is allowed past the “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” signs.

Parking remains available for customers up until the official “Road Closed” signs on both sides of West First Avenue and on the south side of South Toppen*sh Avenue.

To help clarify:
• “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” means local access is allowed for customers and deliveries.
• “Road Closed” means no access beyond that point.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

Street and sidewalk improvements will begin Monday, August 31, 2026, in the area shown on the map. Road closures are expected Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Local business access will be maintained. Construction is expected to continue for approximately 65 working days.

Please use caution and follow posted traffic control and detour signs.

A cooling station and free lunch service will continue to be available through the month of August at 61801 US Highway 97, Toppen*sh, WA 98948.

Hours: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

With warm summer temperatures continuing, this resource provides a safe place to cool down, hydrate, and enjoy a meal.

Please help spread the word to anyone who may benefit from these services.
