What a wonderful performance today! ✨🎶

A huge thank you to our talented special performers who shared their gifts with us. Our very own Alegria Club showcased their hard work and dedication through their amazing dances. We were also treated to the beautiful vocal talents of Allison Godinez and Noelia Delgado. To top it all off, Mariachi Jalisco filled the room with incredible music and helped make the day truly special for our students and staff.

We loved every song, every performance, and the joy, culture, and pride they brought to our school community. Thank you for sharing your incredible talents with us—we thoroughly enjoyed the show! ❤️🎵

Our Book Blast books have arrived! 🎉📚

Today was an exciting day at Garfield Elementary as every single student in our school received a brand-new book to take home and enjoy! We love seeing the excitement on our students’ faces as they discover new stories and adventures through reading.

We’d also like to give a big congratulations to Eli, the winner of the Epic Treasure Chest, filled with amazing prizes! 🎁🏆

Our 2nd and 3rd graders had an amazing adventure today visiting the Pacific Science Center in Seattle! 🧪🔬✨

Students had so much fun exploring hands-on exhibits, learning new things, and experiencing science in exciting ways. It was a day full of curiosity, discovery, and smiles!

A huge thank you to all of our incredible staff and wonderful chaperones who helped make this trip possible. We appreciate your support and dedication to creating memorable learning experiences for our students! 🐾

⚖️👩‍⚖️ What an AMAZING day for our Garfield Leadership & High Cap students at the Yakima County Superior Court with Judge Rodriguez- True! Students got hands-on experience participating in a mock trial where they stepped into the important roles that make up a fair justice system — prosecutors, defense attorneys, judges, police officers, jurors, witnesses, and more!

They also got to meet K-9 officers Scott & Luke 🐕‍🦺, explore real law enforcement equipment, try on SWAT vests, helmets, and tactical gear, and learn firsthand about teamwork, safety, and leadership in the justice system. 🚔🛡️

To top off an unforgettable day, students enjoyed lunch from 🍕 Pizzaias Pizza — seriously some of the BEST pizza around! Thank you to everyone who helped make this fun, educational, and memorable experience possible for our students!

🍓🚜 Our kindergarteners had an amazing time at Middleton Farms for the Strawberry Festival! 🌞

Students enjoyed exploring the farm, picking their own fresh strawberries, and taking a fun tractor ride through the fields. It was a wonderful hands-on learning experience filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
