Summer Reading's 'Unearth a Story' at the Brandywine Community Library was a success!!! We read over 87,000 more minutes than last year. It was wonderful seeing all the adults get involved this year. We are planning for next year-- Mysteries Await at Your Library. 🔎

We are participating in the Library to Library Pen Pal Club. This program connects patrons from libraries across the country as pen pals, using their home library's address to send and receive mail. Your home address will not be given out. Participants will be matched with age-appropriate pen pals. Sign up at the link in the comments or visit the library and fill out a paper.

Did you know? We have Book Club Kits available for circulation for kids, young adults, and adults! Each kit comes with between 4 to 9 copies of the book, as well as a book summary and discussion questions. We also have kits with magazines! Kits can be found in the back of the adult non-fiction section to the right of the emergency exit.

Thank you to everyone who tells us when our story stroll has been vandalized. Luckily the signs are not damaged but it's sad that we've had to fix this 3 times in the last month. Please let us know if you see someone throwing our signs in the creek or the brush.
