During EMS Week, we pause to honor the dedicated EMS professionals who served our communities with courage, compassion, and sacrifice and are no longer with us. Their legacy continues to inspire every call answered and every life touched.

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to our current TEMS staff. Your commitment, professionalism, and selfless service do not go unnoticed. Day and night, you continue to answer the call, care for our communities, and make a difference when people need it most.

“Improving Outcomes, Together” is more than a slogan it reflects the teamwork, compassion, and dedication shown by EMS providers every single day.

Happy Mother's Day from TEMS Joint Ambulance District

Today we are thinking about all the moms across Toronto, Empire, Stratton, Knox Township, and Island Creek who make our community what it is.

To the moms at home waiting for a paramedic or EMT to walk through the door. To the moms who raised our first responders to be calm in chaos and compassionate on every call. And to the moms we have the privilege to care for.

You respond with love the same way we try to respond with care, quickly, steadily, and without hesitation.

From our family to yours, thank you. We see you, we appreciate you, and we hope you get a moment of peace today

RESCUED:

Please help us find our missing cat. He disappeared and we believe someone may have taken him. He is deeply loved and missed by the TEMS family. If you have seen him or have any information at all, please contact us. No questions asked — we simply want our cat back. Please share this post and help us bring him home.

The Toronto Preschool classes stopped by TEMS Joint Ambulance District for a tour, and they brought ALL the smiles. The kids got to explore Medic 7471, learn what to do in an emergency, and meet a couple of our crews.

We thank the teachers, administration, and parents for bringing them over to our station and thank you to our future first responders for the great fun(and the high-fives). You made our day!

We had a great visit from Girl Scout Troop 10321!

The troop stopped by to check out our EMS operation, meet our staff, and learn some basic first aid skills as part of their merit badge work. It was awesome to see their curiosity and enthusiasm for helping others!
