Principal Nitake, Assistant Principal Ms. Polk, and our new Dean of Students, Ms. Alcantara, have been meeting with our Saxons during grade-level assemblies to introduce themselves, connect with students, and review our schoolwide behavior expectations.

Our ASB student leaders also joined the assemblies to share upcoming grade-level announcements, activities, and opportunities for students to get involved and stay connected to our Saxon community!💙

These assemblies are an important opportunity to build relationships, establish clear expectations, and make sure our students know about the many ways they can engage and make the most of their high school experience.

Together, we’re continuing to build a safe, respectful, welcoming, and connected school community where every Saxon can grow and thrive! 🌱💙

Whether it’s on the sidelines, in the training room, before practices, during games, or behind the scenes, our Sports Med team is always there helping keep our athletes healthy, safe, and ready to compete. Their commitment spans every sport, every season, all year long and their impact on our athletic programs is immeasurable.

This is what Growth Through Connections is all about. 🌱 The relationships they build with our student-athletes, coaches, and one another create a culture of care, trust, and belonging throughout our Saxon community.

We are incredibly thankful for our Sunshine Club leaders who work throughout the year to create opportunities for our faculty and staff to connect, celebrate, laugh, and simply enjoy being together. 💙

From potluck breakfasts every month, to Halloween costume themes, picnics in the wings, Secret Santa and faculty cook-offs and more, Sunshine Club helps strengthen the relationships that make North High such a special place to work.

Our theme this year is Growth Through Connections 🌱, and that growth isn’t just for our students. When our faculty and staff feel connected to one another, we build a stronger community, a stronger culture, and ultimately a better experience for our students and families.
