Violence of any kind has no place on our roadways. A moment of anger behind the wheel can lead to dangerous decisions: speeding, tailgating, or aggressive driving. It’s not worth it.

The mission of the California Highway Patrol is to provide the highest level of Safety, Service, and Security.

May the 4th be with you during your commute. Don’t make these Wookie mistakes.

Buckle Up – buckle up every trip, every time. It’s the simplest way to protect yourself and your passengers.

Eliminate Distractions – Texting can wait. Taking your eyes off the road for a few seconds can have consequences that last forever.

Driver Sober – If you’ve been drinking don’t drive. Plan ahead… call a ride or use a rideshare. One bad decision can change everything.
