Please join us in welcoming our newest police officers, Ryan Brown and Pablo Garcia, who were officially sworn in at their Oath of Office Ceremony.

Officer Ryan Brown began his journey with ECPD as a Police Cadet and Community Service Officer, and now returns as a sworn officer after graduating from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Academy.

Officer Pablo Garcia joins our department from the Montebello Unified School District Police Department, bringing valuable experience and a strong commitment to service.

We are proud to have both officers join our team as we continue our mission to keep the El Camino College community safe.

El Camino Police Department Welcomes Two New Officers

Please join us in congratulating and welcoming our newest police officers, Ryan Brown and Pablo Garcia, who were officially sworn in during our Oath of Office Ceremony.

Officer Ryan Brown began his journey with El Camino Police Department as a Police Cadet and Community Service Officer, and has now returned to serve as a sworn officer after graduating from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Academy this past month.

Officer Pablo Garcia joins ECPD with prior law enforcement experience from the Montebello Unified School District Police Department, bringing valuable knowledge and a strong commitment to community policing.

These officers have demonstrated dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to public service, and we are proud to have them join the El Camino Police Department team. Their addition strengthens our mission to provide a safe and secure environment for our students, faculty, staff, and community.

We also want to thank the family members, colleagues, and campus partners who attended the ceremony to support our newest officers as they begin this important chapter in their careers.

Welcome to ECPD, Officers Brown and Garcia — we look forward to your service and contributions to our campus community.
