Telecommunicator Week 2026 is officially in the books! What an incredible success it was!

We’re excited to share some great news!

Our brand-new Wellness Room is officially complete and ready for our team. 💙

This space was created with our telecommunicators in mind. A quiet, comfortable place to decompress, recharge, and take a moment for themselves during demanding shifts. The work our staff does every day can be intense, and it’s important that they have a space that supports both their mental health and overall well-being.

Taking care of our community starts with caring for our people.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible, and to our incredible staff who give so much of themselves every single day. We hope this space gives a little back to you.

We had an amazing time getting out of the center and onto the ice at the Norfolk Curling Club! 🥌 The “Learn to Curl” event was a great opportunity to try something new, enjoy some laughs, and spend time together as a team. Big thanks to the instructors who made it such a fun and memorable night!

A big thank you to Stephen Johnson for an outstanding presentation tonight at the LCD in-service on having difficult conversations. There was so much valuable insight shared, and it gave everyone a lot to think about and apply moving forward.

Also, a huge shout out to Roma Pizzeria for providing a fantastic dinner — it was greatly appreciated by all!

Grateful for a great evening of learning, connection, and good food.
