Operation Remount Corporation

Operation Remount Corporation is a nonprofit based in Jay Em, Wyoming, dedicated to supporting military veterans and first responders through the power of the American Mustang. Their six-week Mustangs for Veterans and First Responders program pairs participants with wild mustangs, giving them the opportunity to build trust and connection through hands-on gentling and training. Upon successful completion of the program, participants may even have the opportunity to adopt their mustang at no cost.

Join Operation Remount for a full day of horses, family fun, and entertainment at the Wild West EquiFest Horse Expo on Saturday, September 12!

Enjoy horse performances and demonstrations, vendors, a live auction, concessions, and a Kids Activity Corner featuring face painting, a photo booth, coloring station, and crafts.

This November, the streets of Goshen County will once again become a living tribute to the men and women who have served — and who are currently serving — in the United States Armed Forces.

The Goshen Main Street Veterans Banner Project gives families, friends, and community members a meaningful way to honor the veterans and service members who have made a difference in our lives and our communities.

NEW BANNERS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED!

If you have a veteran or active-duty service member you'd like to honor, submit an application and help us put their face and story where the entire community can see them.

✨ Banners are displayed for two full years
✨ Each banner participant receives a copy of our “Behind the Banners” publication, preserving the stories of our local heroes
✨ Beginning in 2028, families will have the option to renew annually

🇺🇸 WANT TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT?

We are also accepting sponsorships for the Veterans Banner Project. Sponsorships help us continue this community-wide tribute and ensure we can keep honoring the men and women who have given so much in service to our country.

📅 DEADLINE FOR NEW BANNERS: September 25

This deadline is strictly enforced to allow time for printing and preparation before the banners are displayed in November. Spots are first come, first served across participating municipalities.

These aren't just names in a history book. They are our neighbors, our family members, our friends, and our heroes.
