UPDATE : We are sold out of chicken for tomorrow’s bbq. Thank you all again for your continued support.

Mark your calendars for June 6th. We will be having another chicken barbecue. If you would like to reserve your chicken, you can call 570-265-7916 and leave a message or send us a message on Facebook Messenger on this page. Chicken is $9 for a half. Thank you in advance for your continued support.

The Pennsylvania State Police will be at the North Towanda Fire Station at 40 Hillcrest Dr, today from 10:00 to3:30 today doing child safety seat inspections. Come get your seats check so you know your precious cargo are properly protected.

UPDATE: We are sold out of chicken for the barbecue on May 9th. Thank you for your continued support!

Here it is, folks. Our first barbecue of the year will be held on May 9th. The price this year is $9 a half. If you would like to reserve your chicken, please call 570-265-7916 or send us a message on Facebook Messenger on this page. We look forward to seeing all of you, and thank you in advance for your continued support of the North Towanda Fire and Rescue Volunteers. Chicken can be picked up between 11:00 and 12:30. If not picked up by 1 o'clock without prior arrangements, it will be sold to the next person on the list.

I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to all the personnel who assisted with the fire today. Given the challenging terrain and the extensive amount of timber burning on the ground, containing and extinguishing the fire proved to be particularly difficult. Our team spent approximately 7 hours on the scene ensuring the fire was fully brought under control. A special thank you is extended to departments 1, 3, 7, 15, 17, 21, as well as the Bradford County Forestry crew, the Bradford County EMA, and Drone team, Guthrie EMS, Pa, DCNR, and the Bradford County 911 crew. I would also like to thank Tereasa Radney for donating and delivering pizza and fruit to the scene for our personnel,
