The last several hours have been very active weather wise acorss the region. Working with our partners at the US National Weather Service Binghamton NY, the potential for two tornados was indicated by radar in Bradford County. The first being around the Springfield area, and the second located between LeRoy/Franklin Twp moving towards Overton and the County line.

We have received a bystander report describing a funnel like cloud formation looking from the County line towards Overton and LeRoy about the time of the radar indication. We have not currently received any reports of significant or wide spread damage, and the area is question is heavily wooded

As daylight tomorrow allows better visibility, if you note or observe paths of damages consistent with possible tornado activity, please contact the Bradford County Emergency Management Agency at 570-265-5022 or email [email protected]. Evaluation of the damage by the National Weather Service helps provide valuable data for future storm prediction.

🟡Yellow flashing lights on a bus mean it is preparing to stop
🛑Red flashing lights with stop arm mean STOP
🚫Passing a stopped school bus can mean a $250 fine, 60-day license suspension, and 5 points on your license

Route 6 is now reopened in both directions!

Route 6 in Standing Stone Twp is closed at Coolbaugh Rd. Intersection due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer. Detours are being set up by PennDOT at both ends of Route 187.
