With school back in session and most of our friends attending the new pre-k, we have changed Story Time to just the first Wednesday of each month. We no longer will be doing it on the 3rd Wednesday.
We will bring back 2 Story Times per month once summer is back!

We were heart broken to hear of the passing of music legend, philanthropist, cultural icon, and a true champion of literacy, Dolly Parton. With her Imagination Library, she gave away more than 330 MILLION books to children around the world. We have some of her books mixed into our collection.

Dolly, we will always love you.

Hello Hello Hello!! We have MORE news. We are starting an adult program! Starting in September we will be meeting on Mondays from 1:00pm-2:30pm for chatting, working on your latest craft (be it knitting, crochet, scrapbooking, or anything mobile), playing a game or 2, and some snacks. Don't want to participate in the games or crafts? You can come just to "hangout" and watch. So come hangout with us on Monday afternoons!

We have exciting news! With Story Time moving to the just 1st Wednesday of the month we have started a new kids program! Creators Club will be after school, on Mondays, from 3:30-4:30 starting in September! There's Lego, K'nex, wood blocks, Magnetiles, and more! School age kids are welcomed. It is come and go so you do not have to be there the entire time. We would like parents to sign up their kids so we have contact information.

With Summer Reading over and school started, we've had a little time on our hands to get some things done on our "To-Do" list! We got the plaque for our artwork back up (after the first support rod was stolen) and reorganized all of our Memorial plaques and FOTL Award!

Hello library people!! We had an awesome donor give some backpacks with a few school supplies inside! We will start handing them out on a first come first serve basis tomorrow. Parents will need to come in with their student to pick them up.

We were a little busy on Pool Party day. We were able to get a few outfit changes between fixing neighborhood kid's bike chains.
