🏌🏽That's a wrap on BMW Championship week at Bellerive!

As we look back on an incredible week, we want to start by thanking our residents for your patience, cooperation, and support while road closures were in place. We know the week brought some inconveniences, and your support played a huge role in helping everything run safely and smoothly.

We're also grateful to the PGA TOUR, Western Golf Association, Bellerive Country Club, Creve Coeur Police Department, St. Louis County Police Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol, West County EMS & Fire Protection District, Chesterfield Missouri Police Department, Des Peres Department of Public Safety, Maryland Heights Police Department, Webster Groves Missouri Police Department, St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (OFFICIAL), West Central Dispatch Center, MoDOT - St. Louis, American Red Cross, US National Weather Service Saint Louis Missouri, St. Luke's Hospital - St. Louis, St. Louis County Office of Emergency Management, and our federal law enforcement partners for working alongside us to make the event a success. An event of this size takes a tremendous amount of coordination and teamwork, and we simply could not have done it without the support and assistance of our partner agencies.

And, of course, we're especially proud of our officers. Throughout the week, they worked long hours, adjusted schedules, came in on their days off, and spent countless hours directing traffic, securing the area, assisting residents and visitors, and responding to the everyday calls for service that continued throughout the city. Their dedication, professionalism, and willingness to do whatever was needed helped ensure both the tournament and our city remained safe. We couldn't be more appreciative of the hard work they put in throughout the week.

We also have to give a special thank you to 1st Phorm for supplying our team with snacks, energy drinks, and protein shakes throughout the week - and replenishing our supply when we ran out. Donut Palace STL, the stereotype isn’t wrong - thank you for the sweet treats. We appreciate your generosity and support.

Finally, events like this don't come together in just a few days. For more than a year, members of our command and support staff, alongside our law enforcement partners, worked behind the scenes to develop and coordinate traffic and public safety plans and ensure security was in place for the course and players. Seeing more than a year of planning and collaboration come together successfully this week made all of the hard work worth it.

We're proud of our team, thankful for our partners, and especially grateful to our community for helping us safely welcome over a hundred thousand guests to Town & Country.

Here are a few of our favorite moments from the week!

POV: You’re 4 years old and someone hands you keys to the coolest car ever. 🚓😎

Future Officer Liam stopped by the station and Officer Besore gave him a VIP tour of his police car — lights, sirens, and all! 🚨🔉

Thanks for stopping by Officer Liam; we love visits from our future officers!

With Wyndham Clark leading the way, and Patrick Cantlay, Rory McIlroy, and Gary Woodland keeping things exciting, we’re expecting a lot of people to stick around until the very end. ⛳️ 👀

Residents and spectators, please expect longer-than-usual delays Sunday evening as everyone makes their way out of Bellerive. Thanks for your patience. 🚗

⚠️REMINDER: Do not move traffic control measures.⚠️

While the vast majority of our residents and guests have been great about following the temporary traffic restrictions this week, we need to share an important reminder.

Under Town & Country Ordinance 315.100, Interfering with Traffic Control Measures, it is a violation to move, remove, alter, or interfere with traffic control devices or measures. Effective immediately, officers will be citing individuals who move or tamper with these traffic control measures.

We understand the road closures and traffic changes this week are inconvenient, but these measures are in place to keep residents, visitors, and officers safe and help traffic move as smooth as possible.

Please leave all barricades, cones, signs, and other traffic control measures exactly where they have been placed. We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we work through a very busy week in Town & Country.

The BMW Championship has arrived at Bellerive Country Club. To help ensure the safety of players, spectators, residents, and staff, several temporary road closures and restrictions will be in place this week.

Road Closures (during the hours of approximately 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
· Ladue Road will be closed between Highway 141 and Interstate 270
· S. Mason Road will be closed north of the Whitfield School entrance
· N. Mason Road will be closed at Chaselle Lane

Resident Access
The BMW Championship will mail vehicle hang tags directly to residents of impacted subdivisions. These hang tags are intended to help identify residents at designated access points, but they do not provide unrestricted access to closed roads or allow drivers to bypass traffic control measures. The yellow dotted lines indicate subdivision-specific access only. Residents should use the designated access routes and follow directions from law enforcement officers and event personnel.

Residents of Bellerive Country Club Grounds and Bon Chateau subdivisions only will be permitted to access Ladue Road from Highway 141 only, provided they display the appropriate resident hangtag. Please note the intersection of Ladue Road and Mason Road will be closed to all through traffic, with access restricted to emergency vehicles only.

Parking & Transportation
There will be no public parking available in the City of Town & Country. Tournament spectators should park at the St. Charles Family Arena, where shuttles will provide transportation to Kirk of the Hills. A designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up location will be located at Whitfield School.

Drone Restrictions
A temporary flight restriction, granted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), has been approved. Drones and other unmanned aircraft systems are not permitted to operate on or near the area.

We encourage residents to allow ample extra travel time when traveling through the area during the week. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we welcome this world-class championship to our community.
