This September, turn your passion into progress. šŸ’œ Whatever you love — baking, golfing, gaming, hiking — you can make it a fundraiser to help end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

When you raise $200 between Sept. 1–30 for Do What You Love to End ALZ during the World Alzheimer's Day Challenge, we'll send you this exclusive crewneck sweatshirt as a symbol of your impact. Every dollar you raise moves us closer to a world šŸŒ without Alzheimer's.

A morning walk became a lifesaving mission. 🐾

Earlier this year, Dan DiCadilo was walking his dog Gozier when she began barking insistently. She was laser focused on a nearby house. Dan didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. He tried pulling her along, but she kept edging him nearer to the house.

As they drew closer, Dan discovered a woman lying unresponsive outside in the cold wearing nothing but a white robe. He called 911 and Gozier remained by the woman's side until help arrived.

It turns out that the woman is living with Alzheimer's. Fortunately, she survived after spending a week in the ICU. The town of Ashland, Virginia officially recognized Gozier’s lifesaving instinct. ā€œIf it wasn’t for Gozier, I would have never stopped because I didn’t see anything,ā€ said Dan.

Thank you to our national corporate partner Edward Jones for sharing this story. Dan is a financial advisor for the firm. And a special thank you to Gozier for her heroism.

"Life doesn't have to end with the diagnosisā€

For over 25 years Mark Sennet photographed the most recognized faces across the globe including U.S. presidents, the British royal family, sports legends and Hollywood icons. In 2022, he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

Today he views life through a new lens, which is reflected in a meaningful project he’s working on with his daughter Lauren. The duo is putting together a coffee table book that features his photography from his career and after his diagnosis. He plans to include celebrities and others who have been impacted by Alzheimer’s, as well as physicians and researchers working toward a cure.
