This month, the District 4 Community Planner held her third third quarter Community Pop-Up! Yolanda joined Food Truck Wednesdays with the Granite Patapsco Community Association to connect with residents, hear ideas, and provide insight on current projects within District 4.

🏢 Calling Pikesville property owners and businesses!

The Pikesville Downtown Partnership’s Façade Improvement Grant is now accepting applications to help improve storefronts and building exteriors in downtown Pikesville.

Applicants may receive up to $50,000 toward approved exterior improvement. Eligible projects include signage, awnings, lighting, windows, doors, painting, masonry, murals, and more. Application Deadline: October 15, 2026.

🌟 Celebrating Maddy’s time with Baltimore County Planning!

Earlier this year, Maddy joined our team as an intern, gaining hands-on experience in community planning, engagement, placemaking, and mapping. From developing a county-wide placemaking methodology to exploring the Road to Freedom Trail, Maddy brought curiosity, creativity, and thoughtful ideas to her work.

We’re grateful to have had her on the team and wish her all the best in her next chapter!

🗺️ Small Area Plan 5 is launching soon!

Do you live, work, or own property in Granite, Woodstock, or Woodleaf? We want to hear from you! Small Area Plan 5 will help guide the future of this rural area while supporting its unique character. The plan will explore priorities including: Protecting agricultural land and rural character, preserving forests, stream valleys, and natural resources, addressing transportation and infrastructure needs and more!

Community engagement will begin this fall, with public meetings, workshops, and other opportunities for residents, property owners, businesses, and community organizations to participate.
