Yesterday, 6/30, was Dr. Rogers' last day as BCPS Superintendent after serving children in various roles in education for 30 years. Happy Retirement to her. Today, 7/1, is our new Superintendent's, Dr. Bill Heiser, first day. All the best moving forward as BCPS heads into its next chapter.

Seeking community members to participate on interview panel for superintendent candidates



On Wednesday, June 17, from about 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the Board of Education will hold final interviews for the superintendent candidates. In addition to representatives from the unions, school system-affiliated groups, and students, Ray & Associates will randomly select 15 individual community members to participate.

Interested Baltimore County residents may register online beginning Monday, June 8, through 3 p.m. on Monday, June 15. All who register will receive a confirmation informing them of their status. Only one registration per person will be accepted. More information can also be found on the Board of Education’s Superintendent Search webpage.
