Lead Safe Baltimore County Lead Safe Baltimore County is committed to providing free lead hazard reduction services to low-income families.

Baltimore County has received a grant from HUD to provide lead abatement services for low-income families with children under the age of 6. In order to be eligible, applicants must meet the following:
- House built prior to 1978
- Baltimore County resident
- Child under the age of 6 either living at OR frequently visiting the property
- May not exceed certain income limits set by HUD
