Lost necklace/ chain/ or possibly dog collar turned in to the PD this afternoon. Located in the area of Central Park. If you believe this lost property belongs to you, please contact the Tracy Police Department and provide a detailed description of the item. 507-829-8298

Update to work south of town

🚧Update! May 15th. Project has been completed. Signs are being removed now. Road is open.

They have finished paving and are wrapping up shouldering and seeding today.

May 7th Murray County 38 construction, expected completion date is Wednesday May 13th. Will post if anything changes.

May 5th. Progress is moving along. Possible completion day would be Friday. Will keep everyone posted.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – Murray County 🚧 April 30th, 2026

Murray County Road 38 between Tracy and Currie, near Robbins Lake (Slough), will be closed to through traffic for approximately the next 3 days.

🔁 Detour Route:
County Road 17 → County Road 42 → County Road 22

This detour adds approximately 3 miles East and then back West.

Please plan accordingly, allow extra time for travel, and expect delays.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as work is completed safely.

April 12-18, 2026

This week, Sheriff Eric Wallen, and the entire Lyon County Sheriff’s Office team proudly recognizes National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and the incredible 911 professionals who serve as the FIRST first responders to the citizens of Lyon County.

Every call they answer could be someone’s worst day. With calm voices, quick thinking, and unwavering focus, our telecommunicators provide life-saving assistance, coordinate emergency response, and offer reassurance when it’s needed most.
Their work often goes unseen, but its impact is felt across our entire community every single day.

Stay tuned throughout the week as we will introduce you to these heroes, and give them the recognition that they deserve.

City Crew will be returning to clean up streets curb to curb after midnight tonight. Make sure all vehicles and trailers are off City streets. Blocking snow removal ordinance will be enforced.

City plows are heading out now to clear a path. Please move vehicles to off street parking. Plows will be out again after midnight to do a curb to curb cleanup.
