🚨 FOUND PERSON 🚨

The Tracy Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying an adult male who was contacted by Officers around 12:30 PM on June 19, 2026, at a gas station at 3425 N. Tracy Blvd.

The male is nonverbal and unable to tell Officers his name or where he lives. He was found wearing a gray hoodie and dark-colored shorts.

Our goal is to help reunite him with his family or caregivers and ensure he gets home safely. If you recognize him or have any information, contact the non-emergency line at (209) 831-6550.

🚨 Attention Internet Detectives...We Need a Name!🚨

This guy allegedly thought nobody would notice him using a phone to take photos underneath a woman's dress.

Guess what...People noticed! The victim noticed. Store security cameras noticed. We definitely noticed, and now we'd appreciate your help identifying him.

This alleged behavior is creepy, invasive, and criminal...and all captured on video!

Now he's internet-famous for all the wrong reasons, and we'd appreciate your help putting a name to the face.

🎆 As we prepare to celebrate the Fourth of July, Tracy Police Chief Seikou Millington and Tracy Fire Chief Randall Bradley remind our community that illegal fireworks are prohibited in the City of Tracy and the surrounding area.

Illegal fireworks are any fireworks without the “Safe and Sane Fireworks” seal. Use of illegal fireworks may result in fines starting at $1,000, criminal charges, and liability for emergency response costs and any resulting damages.

If you witness illegal fireworks activity, report it by calling the non-emergency line at (209) 831-6550. Please do not report fireworks activity via social media or 911.

On June 16, 2026, at about 5:21 AM, the Tracy Police Department (TPD) Communication Center received calls reporting a collision involving a vehicle striking a pedestrian on West Grant Line Road near Buthmann Avenue. When Officers arrived, they located a 66-year-old male who had suffered major injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle.

The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital, where he tragically passed away as a result of his injuries. The identity of the deceased will not be released at this time.

The Traffic Safety Unit (TSU) was notified and responded to the scene to assume the collision investigation. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators.

The collision remains under investigation by the Tracy Police Department Traffic Safety Unit. Anyone with information regarding this collision is encouraged to contact Officer Noel De Loza at [email protected] or (209) 831-6948.

This tragic incident serves as a reminder for all road users to look out for one another. Drivers should remain especially alert for pedestrians during the early morning hours around sunrise, when changing light conditions and sun glare can make visibility more challenging. Pedestrians can also help improve their visibility by wearing bright or reflective clothing when possible and exercising caution when crossing roadways. By staying attentive and aware, we can all help make our roads safer for everyone.

Tracy Police Officers are currently investigating a residential burglary that occurred in the area of Comstock Place. During the investigation, the suspects fled from officers and were last seen near English Oaks Drive.

Due to ongoing police activity, please avoid the area of English Oaks Avenue between Whispering Wind Drive and Windsong Drive.
