🚧 Street Closures: Holy Ghost Parade – TODAY

The annual Holy Ghost Parade hosted by the I.P.F.E.S Portuguese Hall will take place on TODAY, June 7, with two processions through Tracy.

🚫 Road Closures:
The following streets will be closed along the parade route from approximately 8:30 AM – 2 PM:

• 9th Street (Windeler Ave → Central Ave)
• Central Ave (9th St → 11th St)
• Holly Dr (11th St → W Eaton Ave)
• W Eaton Ave (Holly Dr → Parker Ave)

🕒 Parade Schedule:
• 1st Parade: 10 AM – 11 AM
• 2nd Parade: 1 PM – 2 PM

🚧 Traffic Update: Central Ave and Holly Dr will temporarily reopen between 11 AM – 12 PM to help reduce impacts while participants attend Mass.

🚦 Traffic will be briefly stopped at 11th Street as the parade crosses.

Please plan ahead, expect delays, and use alternate routes when possible. Thank you for your patience as we support this Tracy tradition!

The annual Holy Ghost Parade hosted by the I.P.F.E.S Portuguese Hall will take place on Sunday, June 7, with two processions through Tracy.

🚧 Downtown Street Closures – 4th of July Events 🚧

Please be advised that temporary street closures will be in place downtown on Saturday, July 4 for the Tracy Farmers Market and 4th of July Parade festivities.

🛍️ The Tracy Farmers Market will be relocated to:
• Central Ave between 10th St & 11th St
• 10th St between Central Ave & E St

The Farmers Market will take place from 8 AM – 1 PM.

🎆 The 4th of July Parade begins at 10 AM at B St and will end around 11 AM at Front Street Plaza. Following the parade, the community is invited to enjoy music, kids’ activities, vendors, food trucks, and more in the Plaza.

🚧 Major street closures will begin at approximately 6 AM, with reopening times varying throughout the day as cleanup and barricade removal are completed.

Please plan ahead, follow posted detours, and allow extra travel time if traveling through downtown Tracy.

🚧 One step closer!

Today, crews paved the final section of the Corral Hollow Road and Valpico Road intersection. The project is entering its final stages and the current closure is expected to end Monday.

The coming weeks will bring a new traffic signal, permanent striping, bike lanes, turn pockets, and additional travel lanes as part of the intersection improvements.

Thank you for your patience while we build a safer, more efficient roadway for the Tracy community.

Beginning June 10, Lammers Road will be fully closed between Valpico Road and Western Pacific Way as crews complete critical recycled water infrastructure improvements.

📅 Closure Dates:
June 10 – July 3, 2026

⏰ Work Hours:
7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

✅ Direct property access and emergency vehicle access will be maintained, though minor delays may occur.
🚗 Please follow all posted detours and allow extra travel time.

These projects will improve long-term water reliability and support future growth in our community.

🚧 Construction Update: Corral Hollow Rd & Valpico Rd 🚧

Good news! Crews are wrapping up ADA curb ramps, curb and gutter work today and tomorrow, with paving of the final section of the intersection scheduled for Friday.

🚗 The closure is expected to end Monday, when barriers and detours will be removed and the intersection fully reopened to traffic.

By Monday, the intersection will be fully paved and temporarily striped in preparation for installation of the new traffic signal, which is anticipated around June 10–11.

🚦 Once installed, the signal will operate in flashing mode for several weeks to give drivers time to adjust while crews complete final roadway striping. This final phase will include:
• New bike lanes
• Dedicated turn pockets
• Additional through lanes
• Permanent pavement markings

The signal is expected to become fully operational within the next 3–4 weeks, with final signal timing adjustments being the last step of the project.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve safety and traffic flow along the Corral Hollow corridor.
