This evening we had the honor and privilege of celebrating Mrs. Herron as she received her Outstanding Educator Award. Mrs. Herron is loved by all and we are incredibly lucky to have her as a member of the Courtade Family. Congratulations, Mrs. Herron, this award is so well deserved! How much can we pack into the second to last Friday of the school year?

We recognized our ROAR Model award winners.

Mrs. Bevier held a special preschool graduation ceremony at Grace McDonald Park.

We welcomed graduating seniors who attended Courtade in elementary school to walk our halls one last time and have some pizza.

We had fun drinking lemonade at the second grade lemonade stand to benefit an awesome cause.

All that, and we may have even snuck in some learning!

The Lemonade Stand is open for business! We are selling lemonade until 3:15, help us raise money for the Kristin Sak Learning Legacy Fund! 🍋🐾

Tomorrow is the 2nd Grade Lemonade Stand Fundraiser. This is always such a fun event, lemonade, music and sidewalk chalk. This event is open to the public, invite family, friends and neighbors to come and help raise money for The Kristin Sak Learning Legacy Fund.

Chef Adam was at Courtade today offering all of our students a delicious taste test of red lentils. After his work in our cafeteria, he went to Mrs. Bevier's class (where his daughter is a student), and the class made some delicious homemade pizzas! Pizza party in preschool!

It was a great day to work in the garden! Several classes had an opportunity to w**d, lay compost, and plant seeds. The garden will soon be full of delicious veggies and herbs to share!

Ms. Slawter’s third graders learned about economics at the ROAR Store! Third graders priced items, made change, provided excellent customer service and (their favorite) counted cash!
