Shout out to Ashley Lindstrom, the owner of Whistle Stop Child Care Center, a partnering site. She has been recognized as one of the "40 of the region's best and brightest under 40" by the Traverse City Business News. Since 2024, we have had a Foster Grandparent volunteering at this wonderful center, which caters to children of many ages with a dedicated and compassionate staff. We truly appreciate having a volunteer contribute their time there!

We are excited that our programs are receiving our federal funding from AmeriCorps for this next year!

Our Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion volunteers provide services to children in need and isolated senior citizens in our communities. We are thankful to continue the mission of helping serve others!

Congratulations to the AmeriCorps and AmeriCorps Seniors programs that have received funding for the upcoming year!

These awards help ensure that communities continue to have access to resources while creating pathways for Americans to develop workforce skills, leadership experience, and a lifelong commitment to service.

AmeriCorps members and AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers will continue strengthening schools, supporting disaster recovery, improving public health, protecting public lands, and helping local organizations meet pressing community needs.
