WOW! Look at all this delicious and nutritious food available today to EVERYONE in our community during our FREE FOOD MARKET, 12 pm to 1 pm, at our Community Center, 1239 Barlow Street, Traverse City! Bring your own bags or we have plastic grocery bags for you!

The Salvation Army Traverse City’s Food Pantry is open Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 am to 11:30 am and 1 pm to 3 pm, EVERY WEEK ( unless closed for holiday!). Must reside in Grand Traverse, Benzie, or Leelanau counties and show valid ID.

FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED OF UNEXPIRED FOOD AND PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS! Help your neighbor in need today by donating food/personal hygiene items!

They can be dropped off at our Community Center, 1239 Barlow St., Traverse City, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm.

Wow! What an incredible Summer Day Camp 2026 we had with all of our campers! Each week filled with fun, adventure, learning new things, and making new friends!

We are SO GRATEFUL for our Summer Day Camp Staff and junior helpers who made this year’s camp so incredible for our campers. We appreciate you more than you know!

We are still looking for a new full time Youth & Family Ministries Director! If you know anyone that may be interested, please have them call our office, 231-946-4644 and speak with Major Alan.

Happy Wednesday friends! Our FREE FOOD MARKET AND FREE COMMUNITY LUNCH will be starting soon 12 pm to 1 pm today at our Community Center, 1239 Barlow Street, Traverse City.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME and NONEXPIRED FOOD DONATIONS NEEDED!!! We provide nutritious food to 30,000 local people in need EVERY MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY ALL YEAR LONG (exceptions only if we are closed for a holiday or snow day).

FOOD DONATIONS CAN BE DROPPED OFF TO OUR COMMUNITY CENTER ON BARLOW, MONDAY-FRIDAY, 9 AM TO 4 PM!

HOT LUNCH TODAY IS: Cordon Bleu Chicken, homemade garlic mashed potatoes, corn, and dessert!

The Salvation Army Traverse City Corps feeds 30,000 local people in need annually through all of our food programs, and the NEED IS GROWING BY LEAPS AND BOUNDS! Happy Monday! Volunteers are setting up for our Free Food Market today, 12-1 pm, first come first serve. EVERYONE WELCOME!

We also have our free community lunch today, same time and place. Flatbread pizza today with salad and pie. We offer these food programs EVERY MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY 12-1 pm, unless we are closed for a holiday. BATA stops here at our Community Center, 1239 Barlow Street in Traverse City. Hope to see you soon!
