Congrats to TC West Choirs alum Lillian Gray!

Meet Lillian Gray! 🍒✨

Lilli loves cherries almost as much as she loves her hometown, Traverse City. A fresh graduate of Western Michigan University with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Business, she spent her time at WMU lighting up the stage, her favorite role being part of an immersive adaptation of The Great Gatsby and stepping behind the scenes as a director, including assistant directing WMU's spring mainstage production of Much Ado About Nothing.

Her friends call her "Michigan's biggest fan" and she fully owns it. From the Sleeping Bear Dunes to the Old Mission Peninsula, Lilli has a deep love for the beauty and nature of northern Michigan. But her curiosity doesn't stop there, this past year she studied abroad in London, Paris, and Rome, and she's already planning her next adventure: a ski season in Colorado!

There are several bags of uniforms/dresses that need laundered. These dresses can be washed at home, which would save the choir org dry cleaning fees. Please comment below if you are able to take a bag or two home!

Erich Wangeman Retirement

Dear Current & Past Singers under the tutelage of Erich Wangeman,
Our beloved Mr. Wangeman has been teaching for 31 strong years and will be retiring at the end of this school year in June of 2026. We want to honor his service to singers during his time at Haslett Public Schools and Traverse City Area Public Schools. You are invited to share a letter and/or video to express your gratitude for the impact he has made on your life and/or choir experience.
We will be presenting the letters to Mr. Wangeman at his final concert at Traverse City West Senior High in the Auditorium on Thursday, May 28. The concert starts at 7:30 pm and we will honor him at the end of the concert. Tickets are required for this concert.

The videos will be shared with him in a compilation that he will have the opportunity to view privately.
We know that supporting singers is one of Mr. Wangeman's greatest passions and we are excited to honor him together with an expression of love, gratitude and kindness as he begins closing the chapter of his public school teaching career.
