Big thanks to LaSalle County EMA for hosting Saturday's multi-county SARx!

SAR teams from LaSalle, McLean, Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties all came out for a day of shared learning, teamwork, and collaboration at Catlin Park in Ottawa. Trainings like this help strengthen the skills and build the cross-team relationships that matter most in a real-life situation.

What a beautiful night it was tonight, for some Tazewell County Search and Rescue training!

Tonight's lesson: Man Tracking.

We had someone blaze a trail through yard grass, tall field grass, and a dirt field, and it was our job to figure out where he went!

Very interesting work. Could you do it? Would you like to learn? We are always looking for volunteer team members!
