Beginning Wednesday May 20, 2026, Sky Ranch Rd. in Spring Lake Township will be closed to through traffic between Hass Ct. and Baurer Rd. for bridge replacement work. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of Summer. Motorists should seek the use of alternate routes. Please reach out to IDOT with any questions at (309) 671-3333.

Wingwall Repair on the North side of Toboggan Ave just west of Brownwood Rd. will start on Monday April 20th(weather dependant) and continue for approximately 4 weeks. While most of the work will be performed on the side of the road within the right-of-way, traffic may be down to one lane during working hours. Please be safe and use caution when travelling this area and use alternate routes if possible. Thank you for your patience during this year's construction season.

Beginning Monday, March 16, Towerline Rd. between IL-122 and Winkel Rd., will be closed to through traffic for bridge replacement. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of July. Motorists should seek the use of alternate routes.

This year’s event is open ONLY to Tazewell County residents and all fees for recycling of TVs and monitors are being covered by Tazewell County Green Initiatives, making the event FREE for residents. State-issued ID is required at the time of drop-off as proof of residency.

Accepted materials include TVs, monitors, cameras, Christmas Tree lights, speakers, smart phones, VCRs and much more.

UPDATE: Townline Rd. is officially open. Thank you for your patience throughout the construction.

Beginning Monday March 17, 2025 Townline Rd. will be closed to through traffic east of I-155 between Miller Rd. and Ropp Rd. for bridge replacement work. Access will still be available to local traffic each direction from the bridge and to Levy Rd. from the east. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of October. Motorists should seek the use of alternate routes. Thank you for your patience.

Resurfacing work will commence starting Monday July 7th on Townline Rd. between Hopedale Rd. and Mackinaw Rd. Also towards the end of next week they will be resurfacing Springfield Rd. between Broadway Rd. and Queenwood Rd. Please use alternate routes when possible and expect delays. 🚧 Road Closure Notice 🚧

Sheridan Road will be closed from Redwood Drive to Country Club Drive starting Friday, June 20, 2025. The closure is expected to remain in place through the weekend, with the road reopening on Monday morning, June 23, 2025.
