What's happening at the library this week?

We will be closed Monday, September 7th for Labor Day!

Tuesday, 10am-12pm - Brewed Connections: Adults 18+ can come enjoy coffee and a jigsaw puzzle in the Meeting Room.

Wednesday, 10:30-11:30am - Baby & Me: Caregivers of all kinds and their littles ages 0-3 can come play and meet new friends every Wednesday at the library.

Thursday, 10:30-11am - Story Hour: We're talking about apples this week at Story Hour! Listen to stories, learn rhymes, and do a craft about apples - straight off the tree or as a candied treat! Perfect for ages 3-6.

September's Book Club Lineup!

Interested in joining one of TDL's Book Clubs? Grab a copy of the book from the front desk up to 3 weeks before the meeting. None of our Clubs require registration or prior attendance!

Book? Club - Tuesday, Sept. 15th 3:30-5pm: For teens and young adults ages 15+. This month we're reading "Educated" by Tara Westover. We'll start the meeting with a walk to get snacks then discuss!

Adult Book Club - Thursday, Sept. 17th, 1:30pm: For adults ages 18+. This month features "The Busybody Book Club" by Freya Sampson.

Chapter Chat - Thursday, Sept. 17th, 3:30-4:30pm: For teens ages 12+. This month we'll be discussing "Alice With a Why" by Anna James while coloring or doing a simple craft.

Graphic Novel Book Club - Tuesday, Sept. 29th, 3:30-4:30pm: For kids ages 8-12. Double feature! This month we'll be reading The Super Roomies series by Jarrett Lerner. There aren't many copies of these books available, let Miss Lizzi know if you can't get one and she'll work it out for you! We'll be discussing, enjoying a snack, and then making a messy craft!

In the meantime, the only program happening this week is Baby & Me. Caregivers of all kinds can stop by the library Wednesday morning between 10:30 and 11:30am to play with friends and make new ones!

What's happening at the library this week?

Tuesday, 3:30-4:30pm - Graphic Novel Book Club: For our first meeting this season, we'll be discussing "Squirrel Lock Holmes: The Pet Rock Mystery"! Participants can pick up a copy to read before the meeting, then join Miss Lizzi for discussion, snacks, and a craft. Ages 8-12!

Wednesday, 10:30-11:30am - Water Play Day: WEATHER PERMITTING, we'll be on the back patio to splish and splash! These days are perfect for ages 1-6. If weather is bad, we'll move back inside and have our regular Baby & Me time for ages 0-3.

Thursday, 10:30-11am - Story Hour: This week's Story Hour is all about nighttime! Join Miss Lizzi in the Children's Area at 10:30am for stories, rhymes, and a craft -- all selected with ages 3-6 in mind.

What's happening at the library this week?

Tuesday, 3:30-5pm - Book? Club (ages 15+): This month we'll be discussing "Dreamland Burning" by Jennifer Latham. We'll start in the Meeting Room then head out for a treat!

Wednesday, 10:30-11:30am - Baby & Me: Caregivers of all kinds and their littles ages 0-3 can come play and meet new friends every Wednesday at the library.

Thursday, 1:30pm - Adult Book Club: This month we'll be discussing "The Names" by Florence Knapp. We'll be meeting at the front of the library due to a busy Meeting Room.

Saturday, 10am-12pm - Minecraft in the Meeting Room: Ages 7+ can join Miss Lizzi for Minecraft! Participants must bring their own devices and sign a Code of Conduct if they haven't before. Ask Miss Lizzi ahead of time if you have any questions!

With the possibility of thunderstorms this morning, Miss Lizzi has decided not to put out the Water Play toys. Ages 0-3 can come play inside at Baby & Me instead!
