Tonight members worked on some lifting and stabilization evolutions with different tools from air bags, paratech and Kodiak struts and our first responder jacks. Our manakin has found himself in some messed up situations this past year.

This evening, members trained on using our lockout kit to access a vehicle in a simulated emergency scenario where a child was locked inside on a hot summer day. The lockout kit is intended strictly for emergency situations. We do not offer unlocking services for non-emergency situations. Typically, tow companies are equipped to manage non-emergency lockout situations.

Tonight Members attended training at Sacramento Fire Company on recognition and procedures on fire related fatalities. Thanks to and the Sacramento Community Fire Company for hosting this class.

Monday evening at 8:35pm Tremont 67 Fire Crew was dispatched for a odor investigation. Crews found a issue with a siezed motor in a heating unit.

Monday just before 4pm Tremont 67 Fire Crew was dispatched along with our first alarm assignment for a structure fire. Crews arrived to find a issue with a heating system. Both halves of the double block home needed ventilation and units cleared the scene.

Just after midnight the Tremont 67 Fire Crew along with Donaldson Fire Company were dispatched to the Train Station Apartments for a Automatic Fire Alarm, as the Chief went enroute 911 advised of multiple calls of water flowing from the second floor. After investigating it was found to be a broken sprinkler pipe in a room on the second floor. Water was controlled and residents evacuated to the community room. Tremont Area Ambulance assisted with 3 ambulance and 2 wheelchair vans to transport the resident to the Tremont Fire Company #1 were the temporary shelter was established. A huge thank you to all those that assisted in the Incident and shelter this morning Units cleared the scene a little before 6 and residents were able to start returning this morning.

Tonight Engine 67-10 responded with a crew of 6 to assist Station 22-4 on a garage fire. Shortly after responding command requested 67-10 set up a fill site at the Big Lots warehouse. Several area tankers made trips through the fill site hauling Approximately 30,000 gallons to the scene, needless to say it became a icy scene. The Tremont 67 Fire Crew operated for about 2 hours before going available at 847pm.
